FOR YOUR INFORMATION

1 GENERAL

a) Guests must comply with all Federal, State and local regulations when on, in or around the property, the water, the roads or the woods.

b) In order to protect the water supply, sewage system and lake environment, occupancy of Paradise on the Lake property is limited to eight overnight guests – adults and children

c) Your fee includes use of the property, the yard behind and adjacent. Access to and use of other structures, facilities and neighboring beach are not included.

d) Guests should be respectful of the surrounding properties and the neighbors’ privacy. Loud or uncontrolled behavior as well as excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages will be cause for immediate eviction.

e) The property and its contents be left in the same condition in which they were found. That includes cleaning out the refrigerators. Any physical damage (other than normal wear and tear) will be charged back to the guest

2. TRAVELLING ON DIRT ROADS

a) The dirt roads leading to and from the cottage are privately owned and maintained. Please use these roads in a courteous and responsible manner. Vehicle speeds should not exceed 15 mph.

3) SAFETY & SECURITY

a) Because the general environment includes the lake and the woods, children should be under responsible adult supervision at all times.

b) Guests are responsible for the security of their own property.

c) THIS PROPERTY IS A TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY DRUG FREE ZONE. NO FORM OF ANY NON-PRESCRIPTION DRUGS OR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES IS PERMITTED. THERE WILL BE ZERO TOLERANCE OF THE PRESENCE OR USE OF ANY SUCH SUBSTANCES ON THE PROPERTY. LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES WILL BE NOTIFIED IN THE EVENT OF ANY VIOLATION.

4) LINENS & SUPPLIES

a) Except as specifically mentioned below, Guests are expected to provide their own disposable supplies such as paper towels, paper plates, napkins and SINGLE-PLY toilet paper.

b) Bed linens, bathroom mats, bath towels and wash cloths will be provided. Beds will be prepared with clean sheets and pillow cases. Please strip the beds on departure

5) CARS ,BOATS AND OTHER VEHICLES

a) Guests should provide their own compliant and properly sized life jackets, water shoes and other such equipment.

b) You may bring your own boats, inflatables and other water gear. Mooring is available at 56 Moose Run Road next door.

c) Boats may be launched from a town-owned launch site. We will be happy to direct you to the site. Launching boats from trailers across the property is not permitted.

d) Jet skis are prohibited on Androscoggin Lake by State law.

e) Guests may park up to two (2) automobiles on the property. Guest vehicles are also permitted but should be limited to no more than two additional cars. Parking for one boat trailer is also available on the property.

f) No recreational vehicles (RVs), camper trailers, ATVs, motorcycles, motorized scooters or similar motorized equipment or trailers are permitted. Our neighbors are on their vacations too and appreciate a nuisance and noise free environment.

6) PETS

a) Ordinary household pets will be permitted on a case by case basis. No exotic pets will be permitted at any time. Pets must be housebroken, well controlled, leashed or under voice command when outdoors and QUIET. We appreciate your attention to dog waste (i.e. pooper scooper) courtesies.

7) OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

a) Fishing licenses are required and may be acquired with a credit card or cash at the General Store in Wayne or online at www.maine.gov/ifw/licenses_permits/fishing.htm.

b) No firearms of any type are permitted on the property. Hunting is prohibited on the premises and in the surrounding woods, regardless of whether you possess valid State permits.

c) Camp fires are permitted at designated campfire areas and must be supervised at all times. NEVER leave a fire unattended.
